BOTOX® Cosmetic

Botox cosmetic is a toxin that is produced by a bacterium known as Clostridium Botulinum which is highly purified under strict controlled conditions.

Botox injections relax the facial muscles that cause wrinkling and hence, reduce the appearance of frown lines in between the eyes, horizontal forehead wrinkles, crow’s feet and other expression lines.

When injected into those muscles, it does not hurt however, you may feel fluid or pressure. You may return to full activity immediately after the treatment.

The actual treatment takes few minutes. The effect is usually noted in about 3 days and may take up to 10 days for its maximal impact. Its lasting effect is 4-6 months. Most people undergo repeat injections every 6 months or so in order to maintain a long term benefit. More details will be discussed before your treatment.

Restylane

Restylane, a clear gel, is utilized to fill out lips, enhance facial wrinkles and folds that result in facial rejuvenation with esthetically pleasing appearance.

As we age, the skin loses its natural elasticity and the amount of hylonuronic acid decreases causing lines and wrinkles to appear and also skin dryness.

Restylane contains hylonuronic acid which when injected into the dermis works with your body’s own hylonuronic acid thus, providing volume to fill up the skin deficit.

Restylane is commonly used to treat superficial facial lines. It is safe. No pretest required. Its lasting effect is 5-8 months. The esthetic result is immediate and takes less than 30 minutes to complete the treatment. Its recovery is minimal.

Perlane

Perlane is similar to Restylane ,but having thicker particles, is used to fill up deeper folds / wrinkles and enhances lips.

Juvederm

Juvederm, is a hylonuronic acid in the form of viscoelastic gel which is transparent. It comes in different concentrations that fill fine wrinkles such as crow’s feet, peri-oral wrinkles, forehead wrinkles, frown lines, obvious mild to moderate nasal furrows and cheek wrinkles.

Juviderm 30 which has larger particle size and densest version is very effective in filling up the deep nasolabial folds, returns volume to your lips,and sculptures your cheeks.It is safe .No pretesting required.Its effect lasts 6-9 months. Redness and swelling may develop at the injection site that disappears within 72 hours.
